We are often asked about what sessions we offer for celebrating a child’s first birthday.
Our most popular and highest recommendation would be our Cake Smash package. This session includes the time in the studio, along with 3x portraits of your favourite image.
A variety of photos are taken during the session including traditional poses so you are still welcome to bring along the whole family.
Another question we get asked is what to bring along to the Cake Smash session. We recommend bringing an outfit that you would like your child to wear for the first part of the session and any props including teddies, toys and comforters. For the Cake Smash photos, they always look super cute when little one is wearing a nappy cover, any headbands or party hats, or even a bow tie! You will be required to bring along your own cake as well as any decorations such as balloons and banners (themed ones always look really nice). For the cake, try to get a brightly coloured cake with lots or sprinkles etc. to make the photos pop!
